Our new adoption letter....

Below is our new adoption letter. . . .  please feel free to print, and/or pass it along to someone who may can help us fulfill our dream of becoming parents. Thanks!

This has been such an amazing adventure for the two of us as we have navigated through the adoption process. We have had so many feelings over the last few months; scared, nervous, anxious, but most of all excited. The most difficult challenge is trying to convince a mom that we are the best parents for their child. We cannot imagine the feelings you have, maybe some of the same we are having. We admire you for the brave decision you have made which will provide some lucky couple with the greatest blessing of their lives. We have wanted a child of our own for several years now, but we have been unable to biologically due to complications. We believe in our hearts that God must have a different plan for us and that we are meant to adopt.
How blessed we are to know that you are giving us the opportunity to share our story with you. To begin, we should tell you where we’re from. We both were born and raised in Texas, and we love it here. We both have a tremendous love for children. We have loving parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, & cousins who are all supportive and so excited for the day that we become parents.
Michael & I have been married since November 2004 and live in the Dallas area. Michael and I met when he asked me to his senior prom, and we have been together since that day over 12 years ago.
About Michael:
Michael is one of the most kind, compassionate and generous people I have ever met. It is impossible to be in a bad mood around him because within minutes he will have you laughing.  He is by far the funniest person I know! His sense of humor and quick wit initially drew me to him but his kindness and warm heart won me over. Michael is a hard worker and a wonderful provider. In his free time he enjoys re-modeling our home, yard work, and playing tournament softball. He loves our nieces and nephews, and enjoys every minute he gets to spend with them. I knew from the minute I met him, that he was going to make a excellent daddy.
About Sarah:
Sarah has the biggest heart out of anyone I know. The glass is always “half full” with her. She is always able to help me put my worries in perspective and help me see all of the blessings in my life. She has always put everyone else’s needs before her own and I know that she will make a wonderful mom because of this. Along with her caring, positive, and Christian attitude she is also very determined. As I watch Sarah with our nieces and nephews, I know without a doubt that she will be a great mom. She will nurture, teach, love, support, and guide our child with Christian values. In her free time, she loves to run, and enjoys working in our flower beds.
We want to thank you again for taking the time to take a sneak peak into our lives, and look forward to meeting with you.
You have taken such a brave step to consider adoption, and for that we are eternally grateful. We believe our strong faith, love, and commitment to one another is the foundation for our family. With these we can promise this precious baby will be loved and nurtured to be the person he or she is destined to be. Your loving decision will always be in our hearts and your child will always know how courageous, selfless, and truly loving you are. We want to commend you for your strength and courage and may God continue to bless you.
With much love,
Michael and Sarah
